> had a feasting day where the girls and i went from Maxwell Market (laoban beancurd & chicky rice)) –> KKi for tea & cakes –> PS Cafe for fries –> Buttercake N Cream for seafood aglio olio & warm chocolate pudding. the outcome? an incredible throat.
> unwell for the past week but… turned up for work every single day. no, it’s not like i love my job that much, but i just can’t bring myself to not turn up for work cos while ill, esp if i believe i’m capable of turning up for work & make minimal mistakes. so, it makes me wonder. while i’m really ill & at work, is my colleague who took 2 days mc genuinely ill or taking time off to study for her upcoming exams? ![]()

> had the most awesome weekend. also probably cos i haven’t had an entire weekend off in so long! sometimes i really think it’s pretty unfair, but that’s besides the point & work sucks anw. i had dim sum w/ the family at one of our favorite restaurant. we were assigned the same table 4 consecutive times. starting to wonder… maybe it’s meant to be hahaha. & as part of mother’s day, for the family gathering, we prepared a stalk of carnation for all the mothers. & it was very sweet that my mum, received a cake for mother’s day inclusive of special delivery, her favorite chocolate banana cake! hahaha… thanks ll! of course, not forgetting the night ended with lotsa laughter with my dearest cousins & w/o sleep i rested for a bit before dressing up and headed for Gwen’s place for her wedding!

> Sucha pretty bride. we had a simple yet fruitful day. it was my first time as a bridesmaid/jiemei, but i learnt a lot! we made the gatecrashing simple, sweat-free, yet fun, i hope! they got in in no time, and even had to wait around for the bride who wasn’t ready
but all was good. it was a long day of no sleep from the night before, but it started and ended well. they managed to source for a bunch of warm photographers, videographer, editor, etc. the wedding singers they hired, & not forgetting, the food served at the wedding lunch was pretty fab! I slept for 11 hours straight & still couldn’t recover from the fatigue. but, it was all good fun. Congratulations & happy marriage! ♥ ♥ ♥

18 AugI’ve apparently bought enough facial products in the past couple of days to have an entirely new skincare regime. Fancl Make Up remover > Laneige Facial Wash > Envie De Neuf Exfoliator. I know, every item is from a different brand so it’s kinda weird, and it might not do my skin much greatness. BUT every item is good in it’s own league… so worth giving it a try!
On my o f f day, I had dim-sum with SEIZE (16) people on the same table in Hua Ting Restaurant, footing a bill of $800. Food was ok, not too bad. Exclusivity, was kinda great. A shopping trip consisting of skin care, Tommy Hilfiger jacket & watch, TOYS (transformers), iPhone4 cover from MBMJ, & whatnots, followed. The damage: +/- $1,000. (UN)Necessity to the maximum? L U X E life not meant to happen too freq.
U S S –> Désolé, il pleuvait. But I sat almost all the rides I wanted to go on. C’était amusant.
I’ve an addiction for mad cute desktop accessories, once I start, I can’t stop. I seem to buy e’vry possible nonsense. Even my BOSS rolls her eyes whenever I show her my new buys.
Countin’ down to being E U bounded… 1 wk!
MAD E X C I T E D! Living it up. The best part of it all, I get 3 days of break after my H K trip. My BOSS understands me the B E S T. ‘m gonna start p a c k i n g. Looking forward to being in the a i r p o r t 2 times in 12 hrs. Secret is… J’aime aller à l’aéroport.

March is a month of Cedele cakes! Had the chance to try both the Banana espresso chocolate cake overflowing with muesli & Strawberry fields cake!

New candy alert (poppin’ cool GRAPE COTTON CANDY) & afternoon snacks (sourzzz hearts QUN), ♥

F…..fi…..fit flops, thanks mummylove! I don’t know if it will work it’s magic, but at the very least, it doesn’t look too bad a footwear on it’s own.

Totally my mood when I was schooling.
The day I left my phone at work, I went back the next day and found 121 whatsapp messages, 2 messages and a missed call. Provided me with a certain sense of happiness… Good enough for me.
PS It’s a Saturday and I decided not to join the stayover and left after I collect my f/m grassjelly! ): Now I’m regretting the decision quite a bit cos I’m bored. BUT what choice do I have since I’ve to work tomorrow anyways! ):
PPS How does traveling back to back sound? Meaning… a good 2 – 3 weeks of traveling!

6 Apr1. The trip to Bintan was… too hectic that not much R&R was done! ): But still, it was good albeit boring at some point in time. I enjoyed sitting in a little kelong hut in the middle of the ocean with the currents under your feet, a sky filled with stars hanging above my head, the awesome sea breeze and a drink in hand attempting to do some HTHT. & of course playing with h2o like little kids. And not forgetting our one million and twenty thousand dollars dinner! ![]()

2. Came home to presents! Including the sleeping mask I’ve been wanting to get & Pingu (it escaped from USS and made it to my room)!

3. Somethings different amidst economy beehoon for lunch! Few of my favorite foods, Claypot rice and koreannn… Not forgetting Starbucks’ biscotti! The little joys in life…

4. Planning our “future” over cakes & burger

5. Pingu spending late night (s) studying hard for exam… efforts paid off, P A S S E D both papers at first attempt! To celebrate us passing our 2nd paper, Z & I had bubble tea from Eskimo followed by Best fries forever. Met the girls for Blooie’s & cakes… & reached home to a large koi grassjelly milk tea. Celebratory mood, much!

Lately, it’s soooooo hot, humid and ☀☀☀. It’s incredible how intolerable it gets. Do drink more water for hydration, y’all! <:
PS. I really do miss training days… I miss the fun we had, the nonsensical stuff we did, the laughter so loud we also get complains from the class next door. Now, I’m really looking forward to the talk we’ll be having on one of the evenings! ![]()
PPS Is it too soon for me wanting to get some off days?

24 Mar1. Potluck @ my humble adobe. It’s what we usually do all the time, and I usually try to do make new and come up with new ideas. And as always, they were well received! *phew*

2. Hippopotamus Restaurant and Grill @ Marina Square. But I prefer Blooie’s burger anytime!!! O M G, still craving for some of those now.

3. trip to the salon avec l’ami
Due to a huge miscommunication, I was left unattended for a good hour twenty minutes. I don’t mind waiting as long as they give me a clear indication who/what I am waiting for! And it didn’t help that I reached home at 5.30 the night before. :S And we have an appointment at 11am. In any case, I was fine with everything the minute they told me who I was waiting for. All ended well and I think l’ami ‘s hair didn’t turn out too bad! ![]()

4. 2 pints of ben and jerrys to brighten up a gloomy day. Nothing the ice cream can’t fix.

5. Comfort Food: Tiramisu from Da Paolo. Oh my yummy. I’ve sucha sweet tooth.

15 MarHow often do we get to choisir what we want to do dans la vie? Especially when it comes to important decisions such as a J O B. The more I think about it, the more iffy I get. Is this exactly what I want to be doing? Est-ce ce que j’aime faire? My dreams? My interest? But… I figured (positivement)… when it comes to certain things you might not enjoy it right at the start, but eventually it’ll grow on you. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Le week-end just flew by me! For one, I had a fruitful weekend even though not everything went exactly the way I pictured it to be. I need constructive weekends. Bonne, satisfaisant ones.
1. mon plat préféré: Swordfish Collar
Credits to Eric for the 15% discount off our bill. ![]()

2. cheesetarts / tartes au fromage!
Merci beaucoup, mon ami, for running errands for me on vendredi! Merci for doing shopping pour moi plus helping moi to grab cinq of these tartes au fromage before meet up! These little things are yummy, especially the mango and chocolat ones. Mango tartes au fromage has a very refreshing taste to it. While the chocolat ones… yums & yet not too sweet. In any case, I just helped spread the power of these tartes au fromage. THEY ARE TOO AWESOME. Get them at ICON, behind Amara.

3. study, study & study. <3 schooling la vie!
[Work = training] Definitely gonna be the main forcus for the rest of the month. As much as how some people might really dislike it, I actually am enjoying it! This is the rough outline of what we usually do. café/thé/chocolat chaud/milo over catch up –> Class –> coffee/tea/milo to tide us through –> class –> lunch & titbit-run –> class –> tea break –> class –> exam –> END OF DAY. See the amount of sweets Max, Jack and I accumulated just yesterday and today!

4. taking a stroll round the estate, pure bliss.
Took a stroll around the estate one evening with the company of a few. Pure bliss walking under the moonlight with light gentle breeze. If only time can stop.

5. Lion King avec l’ami.
We were in sucha rush, I suppose we were one of the last few who got into the theatre right before the show started. We dashed through the doors, and at some point we had to stop to let the cast walk by. Then, the ushers communicated and we heard them say, “Last two to enter. No more after them.” Glad we made it in safe and sound and never missed any bit of it. We enjoyed the show. It was pretty good. Lion King definitely isn’t the first musical I’ve watched, but definitely one of the rare few times I booked tickets so early that I managed to get the front row seats. I could see all their expression so clearly. They were smiling almost every minute. I’m amazed how they manage to sing, dance and act all at the same time. And how they can crack jokes of which contents are so local yet they won’t laugh. Professionalism is the key. The settings, music and costumes definitely won me over. Some quotes that made me laugh like a hyena…
“Your sense of humor never fails to abuse me.”
“Get over it, lah.”
“Rasa sayang eh, rasa sayang sayang eh, eh lihat nona jauh, rasa sayang sayang eh!”
“I think I saw a merlion“
&, “xie xie ni”.
But, I’d rather we sat in the middle, a couple of rows back. ![]()

To sum it up, Tuesday didn’t turn out too bad! Waiting for caramel milk tea w/ grassjelly to arrive, drink it and then head to bed! Gonna be a long long long day for the rest of the week. But loaded with quite a lot of activities, can’t wait!

I just realized, that’s like not even all the stuff that I mainly ate… I had McGrill, shaker fries, stuffed crust pizza, 3 servings of milk tea, a lot of BBQ food. WHOA, definitely a crazy week of feasting on junk food. This happens when the parents are out of town. Thank goodness they are back!

1, Marmalade Pantry

[is singapore too small that we end up in repeated places so many times a week? or do I really like those places that much? I visited Marmalade Pantry twice this week. I must love that place so much? In a week I've tried 4 different flavors of their cupcakes, 2 cakes and 3 main dishes. If I must write a review, I'd say go to Marmalade Pantry for their desserts, and if you must eat something... the salad, or crabmeat linguine is the way to go.]
2, ikea

[visited Ikea thrice on one of the weeks (I managed to make sure I didn't have to go for a 4th time that week). As much as I love Ikea for their Daim cake, meatballs, and chicken wings, I really am pretty much sick of the place for now. For the third time this week, I visited Ikea, I walked for a good 4-5 hours with the companionship of Germaine and then, my parents. I realized, the more I walk, the better the stuff I found. I walked every corner, tried hard to comb just almost everything I see. I look at their showrooms, gain some inspirations and then scrutinize every detail before doing a hunt to get the item I want. If I do not have a budget, and I have all the time in the www, I am sure I'll be able to come out with A LOT more in hand. Let's just say my third trip to ikea for the week was GREAT. I manage to buy a lot of stuff I needed for decorations for a little under $200.]
3, yusheng

[I have to admit that I LOVE EATING YUSHENG! Like it's an obsession. I just don't get sick of. It's like how I ate salad or noodle soup almost everyday when I was in Buffalo, and for a period of time when I was obsessed with mustard? It's something like that. I feel like I can eat YUSHENG everyday! :\]
4, one of the few stuff I did for vday / friendship day.

I kinda miss those days whereby we go around school putting cookies/chocolates/flowers/sweet little messages on each other’s table. It’s the sweetest thing to make a trip out of the classroom and return to a table filled with sunflowers, cards, cookies and chocolates. <3 Gonna miss those days cos now that we're older, things are the same again, some just don’t get pleased by little things like that anymore. We want more material stuff? We have to remember that sometimes it's not the cost, it's not the item, it's the thoughts and gesture.
5, Scrapbooking love?

I’ve always liked scrapbooking, but hobbies come and go? Lately, Germs and I got involved in scrapbooking again! Such a fun yet expensive hobby. I had fun, and did a little something for Pops since his birthday is round the corner.
