not that they even bothered to ask if i wanna join, or if im free to begin with

I’m feeling slightly intolerant to nonsense lately. I’ve problems on my own… I’m starting to detest my job cos friends/family are always assuming im at work w/o even bothering to ask. S I G H

It’s off day again! it’s a 3 day work week for me this week. Can’t wait for CNY especially with clothes all bought, and goodies all piling up! This year, after much “research” we’ve decided on 4 different pineapple tarts. We have homemade pineapple tarts (we support this friend of ours since forever, BUT, somehow the standard has been dropping. But still, the pineapple not too sweet, and the base… buttery), pineapple TARTS (like literally in the TART shape) from a home baker that I managed to get through a friend, tarts that are surprisingly GOOD from PEONY JADE, and pretty looking tarts from Cathay Restaurant.

So, after much deliberation with those who can relate, I’ve decided… PEACE is the way to go.

I’ve a recurring resolution to travel, travel-travel, to at least 3 different places every year. Last year, I barely made it! I really went to 3 places, I went to Phuket, Hong Kong and London-Paris-Netherlands-Switzerland-Germany. And I thought I was gonna be able to travel to MORE places. Well of course TRAVELING doesn’t include short trips like Malaysia, and Indonesia. By that I mean, traveling out by planeeeeeeee for a couple of days

This year… I’ve the same resolution to travel travel travel, at least thrice. On the list so far, we’ve Seoul in March and BKK in June! There are a couple of places I am dying to re-visit. That include trips to EU, USofA and AUSSIE. And places I haven’t been and would love to visit… JAPAN, SPAIN, and SHANGHAI.

i’ve stopped making plans to go out after work ‘cos i know, there’s an 80% chance that i’ll end up late, or… hafta cancel on the person. moreover, i’ve moved so it’s less accessible now, PLUS, cab fare hiked. so, it’s good to have random plans, and thankful to have people willing to wait up. i’m so jaded, so fucking tired from work, i’ve lost the life in me. i just don’t quite give a damn about anything else. i’m starting to show my detest for work, the increase workload that came with the new boss, i’m definitely not liking it. while i try to console myself that this increased responsibility and workload only goes to mean that i’m learning more, the job scope just doesn’t interest me much. oh well…

cny is the next on the list that is making me slightly excited. i made plans but do not seem to have the time to carry ‘em out. well at least i had a super fruitful day shopping for goodies with mummy. we managed to find pineapple tarts that were to our liking… think yummy buttery pastry and bought a whole lot of sweets with GOLD and RED wrappers from m&s, love letters, cheese cookies, kueh bangkit, kueh lapis and what nots. we going all out this year. i’ve ordered the cupcakes and cake, we got the caterers, and i’ve a list of wine, cheese, ice cream and goodies to get for the second day. progress for cny preparation: 50%.

i’m looking forward to… 3 day work week next week life WILL BE good.

I watched this video the day it was released and loved it. am a lil’ late at posting, but still… lovin’ it.

It’s #newyeareve today! I’d say 2011 is indeed, thus far, eventful. The resolutions I set myself, I fulfilled ‘em all. 2012′ll be a more challenging one. To a year filled w/ joy, laughter, peace, happiness, prosperity, health & love, I welcome 2012 w/ open arms.

Off to meet LL to shop, and the girls to feast later. Hope it’ll be peaceful yet fun

Photo taken in Switzerland (thank you choochootrain driver for helping me take this picture! ) while we were on our little trip up the mountain via cable car, down the mountain via the steepest choochootrain I’ve ever taken, and lastly across the scenic river to our final destination.

I’m tired at work! I’ve been facing ridiculous customers, bogged down by lengthy transactions, and disturbed by new rules and regulations daily. Working 6 days in a row was the max I could survive this time round. On my off day today, I’m R&R-ing before going for a (belated)thanksgiving dinner. I’ve spent a couple of hours on my macbook watching old found dramas, bliss.

I wanna go on a holiday, I wanna be away from the hustle and bustle of this city. I wanna be away from judgments. It isn’t a joy to be around this area, not anymore. It’s the joyous season, but the amount of stress I’m getting from work is no joke. I’m learning new stuff everyday = satisfaction but more problems and more KIVs. THANKFUL FOR REALLY PATIENT AND NICE CUSTOMERS WHO GIVES NO STRESS TO ME THIS NEWBIE BUT ARGH… I wanna scream my lungs out Work’s been ending L A T E. But L A T E I mean leaving work at 9.30 for consecutive few days, canceling out on friends last minute… really not within my control nor part of my plan.

I REALLY CAN’T WAIT FOR MY BREAK NEXT WEEK although it’s rather packed for now. But still… H A P P Y.
